PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Wildfire Service will be conducting hazard reduction burning adjacent to the Kluskus FSR between kilometer markers 60 to 70.

Burning for the project may take place as early as October 15, 2025. Staff from the BC Wildfire Service will carefully prepare, control, and monitor these fires.

Smoke and/or flames may be visible from the area. The smoke could impede road users visibility at times, please exercise caution and follow road signs.

The exact timing of the burns will depend on site, weather, venting and snow conditions. Burning will proceed only if conditions are favourable.
