I hope many of your teams are engaged in great Pro-D activities today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, in partnership with First Nations Education Steering Committee, we co-hosted the first Indigenous Education Council (IEC) Chairs\u2019 Gathering, with over 50 being represented. It was a true milestone in our collective efforts to support implementation of IECs in every district across the province. Many great achievements were recognized and celebrated with numerous opportunities for improvement and growth highlighted. A key theme was value, and the need for engaged supportive school district leadership. Committee on the Labour Settlement Funding allocation methodology and have the following update:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2025-26 School Year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the recent ratification of the BCTF collective agreement, funding for teachers and exempt staff wage increases, as well as increases to the Classroom Enhancement Fund have been added to Table E of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/assets\/gov\/education\/administration\/resource-management\/k12funding\/25-26\/25-26-summary-of-grants-may-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Summary of Grants to Date tables for 2025-26<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the Learning Improvement Fund and CommunityLINK allocations have been updated in Table A.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding will flow to school districts as a special grant by the end of May via the Common Disbursement System.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Labour settlement funding for support staff will be announced at a later date.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2026-27 School Year<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tentative plan is to have information available to districts in
