This means that EDX will fully replace the School Secure Web (SSW), consolidating student collections into a single platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is included in Phase 3?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Replacing SSW:<\/strong> TRAX\/Graduation data collection will move to the EDX platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User interface:<\/strong> Easy to find reports for error detection and graduation status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>User roles:<\/strong> New \u201cview-only\u201d role so counsellors and staff supporting graduation can view student TVR and transcript records<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What can you do to prepare for this upcoming change?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Review\u00a0Graduation\u00a0Data Specifications<\/strong><br>A draft version of the new <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/assets\/gov\/education\/administration\/kindergarten-to-grade-12\/exams\/trax_data_transfer_specifications_draft.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduation Data Collection Specifications<\/a> is now available for review. These specifications will replace the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/trax\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">current TRAX Data Transfer specifications<\/a> at go-live.<br><br>Note: DEM, CRS, and XAM files remain unchanged. However, TRAX performed extensive up behind-the-scenes data clean-up; EDX will encourage more school-level corrections to improve data transparency.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Assign\u00a0New\u00a0Roles<\/strong>\u00a0<br>Ensure appropriate staff are added to EDX with Graduation Administrator\u00a0or View Only roles. This initiative aims to support more First Nation students to consider teaching as a career path through dual credit opportunities. Applications for this EOI must be developed and implemented in partnership with one or more local First Nations and one or more post-secondary institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/k-12\/support\/dual-credit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dual Credit web page<\/a>&nbsp;to access the application form and resources, including a new frequently asked questions document. The challenge runs until<strong> <\/strong>May 8, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are 10 curriculum-linked challenges\u2014from apple taste tests to mini greenhouses\u2014where students explore B.C.\u2019s local food systems through Science, Math, Applied Design, Skills, and Tech (ADST), Arts Education and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>School administrators are asked to help by sharing this opportunity with teachers, posting the flyer and encouraging participation within their school communities.
