Please see below for reminders about TRAX reporting, the K-12 literacy supports Community of Practice, as well as details about a Lunch and Learn on Classroom Enhancement Funding reporting. The <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.gov.bc.ca\/app\/uploads\/sites\/808\/2025\/09\/November-2025-Graduation_Assessment_Instructions-SD.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Online Assessment Register<\/a> for the November 2025 assessment session will also open from October 1 through October 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools are encouraged to submit TRAX data files monthly to keep student transcripts up to date. Most B.C. post-secondary institutions, Alberta colleges and universities, and the Ontario Universities&#8217; Application Centre receive transcript update electronically throughout the year, where authorized by the student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Target submission dates are in the online <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/exams\/calendar\/\">Assessment Calendar<\/a> and printable <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/assets\/gov\/education\/administration\/kindergarten-to-grade-12\/exams\/chart-of-important-dates.pdf\">Chart of Important Dates<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The main purpose of the first TRAX data file submission is to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>submit initial Grades 10 to 12 course registrations for the current school year as well as any previously completed courses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>submit <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/k-12\/administration\/program-management\/assessment\/graduation#graduation-assessments\">Provincial Graduation Assessment<\/a> registrations for the coming year, which is especially important for schools administering November and January Assessments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>create Transcript Verification Reports (TVRs) to confirm a student\u2019s projected graduation status<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Reminder: <\/strong>Not-yet graduated students must be reported on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/k-12\/support\/graduation\">current graduation program<\/a> (code = 2023) unless they are on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/k-12\/support\/school-completion-certificate-program\">Evergreen Certificate program<\/a> (code = SCCP) or an adult student pursuing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/adult-education\/graduate-high-school\/bc-adult-graduation-diploma-program\">Adult Dogwood<\/a> (code = 1950).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Resources are available on the <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gov.bc.ca\/trax\"><strong>TRAX Information<\/strong><\/a><strong> web page. School districts may also register one additional representative as a second participant to support their district\u2019s participation, such as a director of instruction, primary teacher or French immersion teacher. Please note that early literacy leads are required to participate in the K\u201312 Literacy Supports CoP, consistent with the terms of the Professional Learning Grants provided to school districts. Funded by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, these programs will greatly increase the recruitment and retention of First Nations teachers in BC\u2019s K-12 system. This is an important step in our government\u2019s commitment to meaningful reconciliation, to advancing First Nations self-determination throughout B.C., and to building a more inclusive education system in our province.
