I expect most of you are en route home or waiting to tune into the hockey game, but a few follow-ups from our discussions. While we are only in May, this was the last All Supes session with Swee\u2019alt Denise Augustine, whose secondment is ending and she returns to Cowichan Valley School District as of August 1. I would like to thank Denise for her leadership, determination, commitment to improving outcomes for all learners, and her sense of humour she provided during her work with the ministry. We are pleased to announce that Tsnomot Dr. Brad Baker is the incoming Superintendent of Indigenous Education beginning August 1, 2024. We also extend deep gratitude to Joe Heslip for his work over the past four years. His work has been instrumental in guiding us closer to equity for Indigenous learners. We are working with the Framework for Enhancing Student Learning (FESL) team to ensure we are still supporting this work and will have more to share in the coming month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for someone to fill the position of Assistant Superintendent, Indigenous Education.
