The ministry is pleased to invite school districts to submit an expression of interest to participate in piloting and field-testing of the B.C. Early Literacy Screening Tool. The piloting and field-testing phases of screening tool development are intended to test and refine the tool in current K-3 classroom settings to ensure it is practical, relevant and responsive to the needs of schools, teachers and B.C.\u2019s diverse student population. Participation in the pilot and field-testing phases will support the development of a final version of the tool that is informed directly by experience and insights from teachers, schools and districts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
