PreVenture uses brief, personality-focused workshops to promote mental health and delay and\/or reduce substance use among youth. The program aims to equip youth in Grades&nbsp;7\u20139 with self-efficacy and cognitive behavioural skills to help them navigate common challenges such as stress, peer pressure, interpersonal conflict and identity development. Both Foundry and the Interior Health Authority provide schools with comprehensive support\u2014including training for school staff, access to ongoing coaching and implementation resources\u2014and covers all program participation costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schools across B.C. have been successfully implementing PreVenture with the support of Foundry for three years.
