School Food Cook-Off with Farm to School BC<\/h1><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/farmtoschoolbc.ca\/bc-cook-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Great B.C. School Food Cook-Off<\/a> has officially concluded, with 91 creative recipes submitted that feature local BC ingredients. A sincere thank you to the K-12 students and educators from across BC who participated.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/meeting\/register\/pRHaVRTmSNC7p-jLw24-YQ#\/registration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Registration is open<\/a> for a celebratory webinar hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Farm to School BC on Thursday, April 17, from 3:30 pm\u2013 4:30 pm PDT, which will include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a celebration of the prize draw winners&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a preview of the newly launched official cookbook&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a look at new BC local food literacy resources&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These new resources\u2014including posters, digital signage, and activity sheets designed to help students learn about and connect with ten of the top BC foods used in schools\u2014can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/industry\/agriculture-seafood\/growbc-feedbc-buybc\/feed-bc-and-the-bc-food-hub-network\/institutional-partnerships\/feed-bc-in-k-12-schools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Feed BC in K-12 web page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Great B.C.
