The guidelines were informed by educators, Indigenous partners and people with lived experiences of racism to help district and school staff identify and respond to student-to-student incidents of racism.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other anti-racism resources available on <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/erase\/diversity-and-inclusion\/anti-racism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">erase<\/a> include a free online anti-racism course, <a href=\"https:\/\/mytrainingbc.ca\/anti-racism_course\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learning To Be Anti-Racist<\/a> (now available in <a href=\"https:\/\/mytrainingbc.ca\/anti-racism_course\/fr\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">French<\/a>), as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/assets\/gov\/erase\/documents\/inclusion-calendar-guide.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Inclusive Calendar Guide<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Education and Child Care has launched the Racism Response Guidelines to help address incidents of racism and hate in schools and continue to foster anti-racist learning environments.
