For details, please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/education-training\/k-12\/administration\/program-management\/assessment\/graduation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduation Assessments: Information for Administrators<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment Registration Process<\/strong><br>Pre-registration is required for <em>all <\/em>graduation assessments. Schools with students planning to write in June should register them through TRAX data submissions. The Online Assessment Register is open April 29 to May 23 for review and edits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Schedule your students for the graduation assessments in your school\u2019s student information system (SIS).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For schools using MyEducation BC, please follow instructions to \u201cEnroll a Student to Write an Assessment\u201d in Section 3.1 of the MyEducation BC User Guide on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myeducationbc.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/Graduation-Assessments-v1.6.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduation Assessments<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For all other SIS, please see the Non-MyEducation BC Registration Instructions in this communication.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before May 23, complete a TRAX data upload on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/exams\/tsw\/princ_terms.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">School Secure Web<\/a> (SSW), reporting your students\u2019 assessment registrations in the XAM file (upload requires all three files: DEM, CRS and XAM).\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students can be registered for specific assessment sessions through TRAX data submissions. A valid assessment session date from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/assets\/gov\/education\/administration\/kindergarten-to-grade-12\/exams\/2023-24-graduation-assessment-schedule.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduation Assessment Schedule<\/a> must be used (i.e., June 2024 for this session).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registrations from the school\u2019s TRAX data upload will appear the following day on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/exams\/tsw\/princ_terms.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SSW<\/a>\u2019s Online Graduation Assessment Register.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before the end of May 23, review the Online Graduation Assessment Register for the June 2024 session on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bced.gov.bc.ca\/exams\/tsw\/princ_terms.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SSW<\/a> to confirm, add or delete student registrations as needed for the graduation assessments. The Register will be closed for viewing after May 23, but schools can still view and edit registrants in the E-assessment System.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On May 27, school administrators will receive an email about how to access the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bced.vretta.com\/#\/en\/bced-landing\/admin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">E-assessment System<\/a>\u00a0(EAS) for this session and the technical requirements needed to ensure successful administration. If you have not received this by end of day, contact VRETTA at <a href=\"mailto:bced-support@vretta.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bced-support@vretta.com<\/a> and copy <a href=\"mailto:exams@gov.bc.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">assessments@gov.bc.ca<\/a>.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From May 27,download the password letter required for administering the session to students, directly from EAS. Following step 4, schools will access the EAS system to review the list of registered students and add any late registrants as needed. For instructions, refer to the administration guides available under \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/bced.vretta.com\/#\/en\/bced-landing\/grad\/tech-guides\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Technical Guides<\/a>\u201d on the EAS website.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Non-MyEducation BC Registration Process<\/strong><br>Schools and districts using another SIS will need to determine the appropriate method to include their students\u2019 graduation assessment registrations in their TRAX XAM file. Schools must ensure their SIS is set up to allow the Grade 10 and Grade 12 graduation assessments to be entered so that students are registered via the TRAX data submission process. Consult with your SIS provider if needed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main steps are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Determine which students will be participating in the graduation assessments for the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The mark and credits fields should also be blank.<br><br><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Check the students\u2019 assessments are scheduled for a valid session date (or completion month and year) in your SIS, i.e., June 2024. <strong>Only register students for the session in which they will write the assessment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. When you run your SIS TRAX extract procedure, ensure the records are being extracted correctly.
