Recent Discipline Outcomes
Discipline outcomes are posted to enhance the transparency of the processes and decisions made with respect to complaints and reports about educators. Recently, an outcome was posted about Brent Richard Garraway who agreed to the cancellation of his certificate and to never apply for or be issued a certificate to teach in the K–12 education system.

Indigenous-Focused Graduation Requirement – Implementation Supports
Further to the announcement last March, the Ministry will be introducing an Indigenous-focused graduation requirement in the 2023/24 school year as part of the Province’s commitment to truth and reconciliation. This update provides information on new implementation support resources for school districts, including a handbook, Q&A, PPT deck, BAA course criteria, and upcoming workshops for educators.

2022/2023 Mental Health in Schools Grants
Grant letters, information packages, and funds will be sent to school districts on August 31. These funds will support the promotion of mental health and well-being and provide additional supports for students, families, and educators in your schools. Districts are required to complete the Action Plan Questionnaire by December 16.
