Under section 37 (Annual practice fee) of the Teachers Act, employers are required to remit the $80 annual practice fee for certificate holders employed with the board. Annual Practice Fee Increase for 2024/25
In order to cover future costs of teacher regulation operations, the annual practice fee will increase by $15 effective December 1, 2023. This means that the annual practice fee will be $80 for the 2023/24 school year and increase to $95 for the 2024/25 school year. Read more under News & Notices in the Employers’ Area. 2022/23 Final Certificate of Approval (COA) Draw Date – Due March 28
The final opportunity to draw against a COA in the 2022/23 fiscal for a capital project is March 28, 2023. Remaining draw dates are: March 22 (for deposit on March 28) and March 28 (for deposit on March 31). Please notify your Planning Officer as soon as possible if your draws will vary from your most recent forecast.
