Public Questionnaire and Community Grants for the Anti-Racism Legislation
As part of the development of Anti-Racism Legislation, the Ministry of Attorney General has launched a public questionnaire and community engagement grant program to better understand experiences of systemic racism in B.C. The questionnaire is open until September 30, 2023 and will be available in 15 languages. Applications for the community grants will be reviewed on an ongoing-basis until June 23, 2023, or until funds are fully allocated.

Fall 2023 School-Aged Child Care Demand Parent Survey
In Fall 2023, the Ministry is conducting a parent survey to better understand the regional and provincial demand for school-aged child care. Schools with Kindergarten to Grade 7 students will be asked to distribute the survey to parents to help inform the Province of the demand. Recent Discipline Outcomes
Discipline outcomes are posted to enhance the transparency of the processes and decisions made with respect to complaints and reports about educators. Recently, a summary of an outcome was posted about a teacher who agreed to the cancellation of their teaching certificate. The outcome has been anonymized to protect the identity of a student who was harmed, abused or exploited by the teacher.
