Feeding Futures Fund Planning Report – Due July 31
Districts are required to complete a planning report survey for the Feeding Futures Fund and return it to SDFR@gov.bc.ca by July 31. This report outlines estimated spending and consultation plans with stakeholders. For more information on planning your school food program, please refer to the Build a School Food Program web page. Year-End Reporting on School District OLEP Funding for French as Second Language Education – Due July 31
School districts receiving funding through the Official Languages Protocol (OLEP) for FSL programs (Core French, Intensive French, or French Immersion) must complete and submit the Financial Report/Evaluation Form to Smyrna.Chuttoo@gov.bc.ca by July 31. Accessible British Columbia Act, K-12 Sector Resources
The BC Council of Administrators of Inclusive Supports In Education (BC CAISE), in partnership with the Province, Disability Alliance BC, and Untapped Accessibility, are working together to support school districts and independent school authorities to implement the requirements of the Accessible BC Regulation. A recording of the workshops hosted by BC CAISE for Accessibility Committee members on May 18th and 19th, along with accompanying resources, is available on the BC CAISE website.

School Trustees Code of Conduct Provincial Criteria Guidelines
The provincial criteria guidelines for school trustees code of conduct are now available. This is a resource to assist boards in reviewing their trustee code of conduct and related policies and procedures. Training sessions will continue to be offered throughout the 2023/24 school year.
