All school districts are required to provide the Ministry with a summary report of how funds targeted for Indigenous Education have been spent in the 2022/23 School Year. Please document your expenditures on this reporting template by October 1. Information submitted on this template will be shared with the First Nations Education Steering Committee and Métis Nation BC.

Reporting SharePoint for School Districts Clean-Up
Please save any SharePoint files you may need to your local drive. Education Analytics Office will compress and move all current files and folders to an Archive folder on the SharePoint on August 1.

Reminder to Submit Final Environmental Scan Report – Due July 15
A reminder to review instructions, ensure a Senior Administrator has reviewed and approved, and submit the final Environmental Scan Inventory and Report to EDUC.EarlyLearning@gov.bc.ca by July 15. The Early Learning branch is available to support and respond to questions in advance of the deadline.

Graduation Assessment Schedule
The 2023/24 graduation assessment schedule has been updated and posted on the assessment website. The January 2024 administration window for the Grade 10 Numeracy Assessment and Grade 10 and 12 Literacy Assessments has been extended to two weeks. Administration windows of the written component for LTP10 and 12 (Évaluation de littératie de la 10e année – Français langue première and Évaluation de littératie de la 12e année – Français langue première) have been extended to a full day; the administration window of the written component for LTF12 (Évaluation de littératie de la 12e année – Français langue seconde-immersion) has been extended to two days for all sessions where these assessments are offered. Framework for Enhancing Student Learning
A new Enhancing Student Learning Report guiding template is available for download on the Framework website. Senior leaders can request a pre-populated template with district data via EDUC.Framework@gov.bc.ca before July 21, 2023. This pre-populated template replaces the 16-page data report previously offered by EAO. Alternatively, districts can access data for the Enhancing Student Learning report via the Ministry’s K-12 Data Portal.
