An updated version of Secondary Education in the Provinces and Territories of Canada: A Student Transfer Guide 2023-24 is now available on the Council of Ministers of Education Canada (CMEC) website.
The guide assists schools across Canada in placing secondary students who have recently moved from one province or territory to another, with the goal of ensuring that the student’s education is as continuous as possible. Each section of the guide provides information on the secondary-level education system of each province and territory.
Please note:
- the Saskatchewan section will not be published on the CMEC website. Users will be redirected to the Saskatchewan Credit Transfer Guide.
- the English version of the Quebec transfer guide will follow, once approved.
- a “Note to School Personnel Using the Student Transfer Guide with Families of Members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)” will be published at a later date.
If you have any questions, please contact Jean-Vianney Auclair, Coordinator, Early-Learning and Elementary-Secondary Education, at j-v.auclair@cmec.ca.
