Hello everyone,

Welcome back to a new school year of updates and news! It was wonderful to see most of you in Whistler, get caught up, and share ministry updates ahead of the coming school year.

This week’s bulletin contains learning opportunities, additional guidance and resources to support your implementation of the new Response to Unexpected Health Emergencies Policy.

I also want to thank Leona Prince, who has chosen to return to Nechako Lakes School District 91, for the contributions that she made to our ministry supporting the implementation of Indigenous Education Councils. Leona will be missed as she continues to lead exceptional work in her district. For questions on Indigenous Education, you can still contact Brad Baker, Senior Advisor Indigenous Relations and Superintendent of Indigenous Education.

Lastly, I will be including Secretary Treasurers in the distribution of this bulletin going forward. My hope is that this will ease communications by reducing some of the burden on superintendents’ offices.

Wishing everyone a good weekend,

Kaye
