School staff and administration are invited to attend a clinical presentation on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (12:00-1:30 pm PDT) about sextortion and how to recognize signs of sexual exploitation in children and youth. Attendees will learn to:
- recognize indications of sexual exploitation in children and youth
- utilize effective strategies for managing cases of child sexual exploitation in clinical practice
- identify community and regional resources to support children and youth who have experienced sexual exploitation
The webinar features a panel of expert presenters and attendees will have the chance to ask questions in real-time. This webinar is presented by the Shared Care Committee, which is a partnership between Doctors of BC and the BC Government and as part of the Child & Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Community of Practice.
