Power BI Access for Online Learning Survey

Online Learning Survey results will be available to all districts with a Provincial Online Learning School and/or a District Online Learning School through a Power BI dashboard in September 2024. Superintendents are requested to provide their Online Learning School Principal contacts by August 31, 2024, for access to the dashboard. Contacts will have access to district-level data in the ministry’s standard Power BI products, accessible through the K-12 Data Portal.

The Online Learning Survey, like the Student Learning Survey used by in-person schools, provides useful data for Provincial Online Learning Schools and District Online Learning Schools. The Online Learning Survey is the only source of province-wide information about students’ online learning experiences.

Online Learning Survey results will be available through a Power BI dashboard in September 2024. Superintendents are requested to provide their Online Learning School Principal/s contact/s for access to the dashboard.

Superintendents are requested to email the Ministry of Education and Child Care (EDUC.ReportingUnit@gov.bc.ca) with the Online Learning School Principal/s’ first name, last name, and email address by August 31, 2024. Superintendents can also change or remove Power BI users by emailing EDUC.ReportingUnit@gov.bc.ca to indicate their approval of any changes.

Contacts will have access to district-level data in the ministry’s standard Power BI products, accessible through the K-12 Data Portal.
