The Youth Empowered Speakers Program (YES) is for B.C. First Nations youth ages 18-35 living on- or off-reserve who want to become fluent in their First Nations language while pursuing a career as an Indigenous language teacher. To be eligible for program funding, proof of post-secondary program acceptance must be provided by June 26, 2026. The deadline to apply is January 13, 2025. See this poster for more details.
