In July 2025, CPR and AED learning was added to the Grade 10 Physical and Health Education (PHE) curriculum. To support educators and empower students, the Heart & Stroke Foundation is offering CardiacCrash—a free, interactive, gamified team-based program designed to teach hands-only CPR and AED use in under an hour. It is easy to use, requires minimal preparation or equipment, and can be facilitated by teachers or parent volunteers.
The Heart & Stroke Foundation will be showcasing CardiacCrash at the PHE BC PSA Day Conference on October 24 at Douglas College where presenters will facilitate learning sessions for teachers and staff. To learn more or to register, visit www.cardiaccrash.ca.
