Bill 19 School Amendment Act

On October 7, government introduced amendments to the School Act to enable boards of education to directly offer a broader range of child care services on school property, and to fully recoup reasonable costs incurred by doing so. If passed, the amendments will allow boards to offer school-age child care year-round, like on school breaks, and to younger children in the community. See more detailed information in the news release.
