The Provincial Child Care Council is now accepting applications for vacant positions during its next appointment period. The Council plays a key role in shaping the future of child care in our province, and we are seeking individuals who are passionate about contributing to its vital work.
The Council’s mandate is to:
- provide advice and expertise on policies and programs which affect the affordability, quality, stability and accessibility of child care; and
- represent the regional and sectoral interest of parents, children, caregivers and communities.
We are looking for diverse representation from a wide range of child care providers of different types of care, school districts, child care advocacy groups, early childhood educators, academics in early care and learning, labour unions, businesses, local or regional governments, and post-secondary institutions.
