high and 3 metres wide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any pile of material larger than 2 metres high or 3 metres wide<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Windrows not exceeding 200 metres in length and 15 metres in width<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stubble or grass over an area exceeding 0.2 hectares (2,000 square metres)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gov.bc.ca\/gov\/content\/safety\/wildfire-status\/prevention\/fire-bans-and-restrictions\/open-burning?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=24-IB-PGFC-Cat-2%2F3-prohibition&amp;utm_source=Envoke-Envoke&amp;utm_term=Information-Bulletin%3A-Category-2-and-3-Open-Burning-prohibit&amp;eid=3dafa8c416216ea8a3494d6d282717e1#Cat2\">Category 2<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a Act of BC<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sky Lanterns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Binary Exploding Targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Burn Barrels or Burn Cages of any size or description<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Controlled air incinerators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Air curtain burners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carbonizers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone planning to conduct a Category 3 open burn must obtain a burn registration number ahead of time by calling 1-888-797-1717 or\u00a0<a Burn registration numbers are entered in the Open Fire Tracking System, which allows the BC Wildfire Service to track open burning activity throughout B.C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All open burning must comply with the Wildfire Act, Environmental Management Act and Open Burning Smoke Control Regulation.
