- Smoke and flames will be visible<\/strong> to surrounding areas and to motorists travelling along Dog Creek Road, Chimney Lake Road and Highway 20<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Crews will ignite ground fuels to remove combustible materials<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Ignitions will only proceed with favourable weather and atmospheric venting allowing smoke to clear quickly<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- While burning is underway, traffic control may be on site<\/strong> to ensure the safety of public and firefighters, short delays may occur<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Personnel will remain on site until there is no risk of the fire spreading beyond the perimeter and return daily until the fire is out<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Smoke from within the perimeter of the burn may be visible up to 72 hours after ignition<\/p>\n\n\n\n
