STONEY CREEK – BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) staff in co-operation with Saik\u2019uz First Nation, Laketown, Vanderhoof Fire Rescue and Fort St. James Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting prescribed burns with multiple small units totaling to 68 hectares, around Stoney Creek and Laketown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Smoke may be visible from Vanderhoof and to motorists travelling along Highway 16 and Kenney Dam Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
