PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Wildfire Service is issuing an amendment to the Area Restriction for the vicinity of the Pocket Knife Creek (G80352<\/a>) wildfire, located in the Fort St. John Fire Zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent weather conditions have bolstered the hard work by firefighters, heavy equipment, and aerial resources. The Area Restriction in place for this wildfire is being reduced in size, but there is still a continued need to protect the public in areas where ongoing fire suppression activities are taking place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Order takes effect at 2 p.m. (PDT) on June 29, 2025, and remains in force until the earlier of October 15, 2025, or until the Order is rescinded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Order applies to Crown land within the geographic boundaries described below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
