PRINCE GEORGE – The BC Wildfire Service is issuing an Area Restriction for the vicinity of wildfire G80352 located in the Fort St. John fire zone. The size of the area restriction reflects the continued need to protect the public in areas where there are ongoing fire suppression activities and hazardous fire behaviour conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This Order takes effect at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Pacific Daylight Time on Saturday, May 31, 2025<\/strong> and remains in force until the earlier of October 15, 2025 or until the Order is rescinded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Order applies to Crown land within the geographic boundaries described below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Starting at the intersection of Richards Creek and the Prophet River. From a point on the South bank of the Prophet River at Coordinate A (57\u00b0 39.214′, -123\u00b0 27.451′) travel 29.61km East at a bearing of 93.76 to a point on Daniels Creek at Coordinate B (57\u00b0 38.671′, -122\u00b0 48.165′). Travel along the West bank of Daniels Creek Southeast approx. 48.29km to where it joins the Buckinghorse River at Coordinate C (57\u00b0 25.220′, -122\u00b0 31.312′). Travel 20.03km West at a bearing of 263.54 degrees to a point on the Alaska Hwy (Hwy 97) just north of Buckinghorse River at Coordinate D (57\u00b0 23.980′, -122\u00b0 51.174′). Continue travelling 24.34km West at a bearing of 258.62 degrees to a point on the Buckinghorse River at Coordinate E (57\u00b0 21.354′, -123\u00b0 14.958′). Travel 35.42km at a bearing 339.46 degrees to Coordinate A (57\u00b0 39.214′, -123\u00b0 27.451′)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
