Crew History

The Columbia Unit Crew was formed in 2004 as a response to increased wildfire activity and the 2003 firestorm report.

In 2012, the Columbia Unit Crew moved from the Revelstoke Dam to the airport to make room for an additional unit crew.

In in 2008, Andrea Jancika became the first female crew supervisor for the Columbia Unit Crew.
