Crew History

The Lytton Initial Attack crew acknowledges they operate on the traditional territory and home of the Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux).

The site was originally used as a forward attack base for Lillooet Initial Attack, with efforts in the 1990s to establish a permanent presence. A Unit Crew was officially formed in 2006.

After six successful seasons, a Wildfire Technician was added to support full-time initial attack operations. In response to increased fire activity, a Crew Supervisor was added in 2022, followed by the addition of a third initial attack crew in 2023.
